Sliding Menu

Is there a way with a vertical menu to have a sub-menu slide down instead of showing off to the right or left?

We're not sure what kind of an interface you're planning, but you may refer to the SubmenuAlign and SubmenuOpenDirection samples at http://www.karamasoft.com/Samples.aspx?component=UltimateMenu. You may also refer to UltimatePanel if you're thinking of an accordion-like interface.

What I would like to do is create a vertical menu with a vertical sub menu which expands like an accordin control. So the submenu would slide down when the parent is clicked.
