Using themed css files requires a header control on the page
Hello --

I am trying to work the ShowModal sample into one of my own pages.  I can get the spellcheck dialog to appear, but in the field that is supposed to display the text being spell checked, I get "Using themed css files requires a header control on the page e.g. <head runat=server>" instead of the text in the textbox control.  (I didn't see where the textbox to be scanned is defined, so I'm assuming that this defaults to the one textbox control on the page.)

Help is appreciated.

Eric

Are you using the latest version of UltimateSpell?

I believe so - I downloaded it for the first time not more than two weeks ago.

Re: Using themed css files requires a header control on the page

There is a conflict between the spell checker and the theme that I'm using in my app and that I'm applying to all pages through

<pages theme="Default" >

in web.config.  Once I comment out the default theme, I have no problem with the spell checker.

How can I resolve this?  I need to use my theme as well as the spell checker in the same pages.

Do you have StylesheetTheme="" in Page directive in ultimateSpell.callback.aspx under UltimateSpellInclude directory? If this doesn't help, you can send us a sample web application and we can try it in our test environment.

Yes - everything is standard in the UltimateSpellInclude directory.  I was thinking of taking the theme attribute out of web.config and instead including it in the Master directive in my master page, but it doesn't look like you can do this.

I would like to forward the app to you for you to have a look - where can I forward it?

Re: Using themed css files requires a header control on the page

Open UltimateSpellInclude\UltimateSpell.callback.aspx under your application in Notepad, and update the first line to change 'StylesheetTheme' to 'Theme'.

We will add this line to the next release in a week or two.
