Spell Check Problem
When I click on the spell check button the pop up opens and says loading but never does anything. If I remove all text from the textbox that is being validated then it says spell check completed.

Any help appreciated.

Re: Spell Check Problem
Do you have the latest version and copied the latest dll and UltimateSpellInclude directory to your application and rebuild it? If you send us your sample web application we can try it in our test environment.

Re: Spell Check Problem

I am having this same issue.  We just purchased Ultimate Spell this past week, so I am assuming that we have the latest versions.

Can you tell me what was found after this post?

Thank you.

Re: Spell Check Problem
It was found that you need to replace the old UltimateSpell.dll file under the bin diretory of your app, and the UltimateSpellInclude directory under the root of your app with the new ones that come in the full version. Then you need to rebuild your app with the new dll.

Re: Spell Check Problem
We just purchased UltimateSpell last week, would the .dll we received last week not be the newest one?  If not, where do I get the newest one?

Re: Spell Check Problem
When you purchased the full version you must have received two emails, one for order confirmation, and one for download instructions. You will first uninstall the demo version, download the full version following the directions in that email, install it, and replace the old dll and include directory as explained above.

Re: Spell Check Problem

I never had the demo version.  The only version ever installed is from the download email when we purchased the full version.  The .dll I have in my bin is from the full version which I just downloaded last week.

Re: Spell Check Problem
Copy the dll file and include directory from under one of the sample apps insteaf of the Controls directory as it seems to have the wrong version, which we will fix in the next build.

Re: Spell Check Problem
We are moving to ASP.NET 2.0 using Master Pages and Themes. I have a full copy of UltimateSpellFull20.msi that has an update date of 5/9/2006. When I implement the SpellCheck Control I receive the following error on the web page:

Using themed css files requires a header control on the page. (e.g. <head runat="server" / >  ).

From reading some other posts about this problem it appears that I have an older version of the software. Can you let me know how to get the most current version?

Thanks,
Gary
