Portuguese characters

I've downloaded the trial version, to test it for a site with portuguese characters, and it seems that the search engine can't index characters like (~ ç ´ ` ^).

The web config contains a line for the culture defenition:

<globalization culture="pt-PT" uiCulture="pt"></globalization>

Is there any concern to portuguese words?

We are not sure about Portuguese characters, and "ç" in particular, but we're sure that it can't index "~  ´ ` ^" because they are word breakers (separators). In other words they can't be part of a word regardless of the language. Only alphanumeric characters are indexed as part of the word. Also note that we have customers using it in other languages such as Arabic. Therefore language shouldn't be a problem as long as you're not trying to index words with separators in them. UltimateSearch parses those words as if each word breaker is a space, and indexes each word separately.

The problem is that the the search beahvior seems to random discard some words...

For example if i search for, relógio, i get a result but i searh for negócio it fails.

If we´re talking about (~, ç, ^), words like acção, influência, etc... it fails always.

Everything works great now. I just decoded my htlm, before binding my labels, so the engine can index all the words.

HttpUtility.HtmlDecode("string to decode")
