"Target=" issue?

In your forums I’ve been unsuccessful in finding a solution to an issue I’m currently efforting. I’d like to open up the search results in a separate window. Is this possible? My attempts have been:

<cc1:UltimateSearchInput ID="UltimateSearchInput1" runat="server" SpellIncludeDirectory="/UltimateSpellInclude/"

                                SearchOutputPage="../Screens1/SearchResults.aspx" Target="blank"> (OR Target=”_blank”)

<cc1:UltimateSearchOutput ID="UltimateSearchOutput1" runat="server" Target="blank"> (OR Target=”_blank”)

But with no luck. How can I affectively implement this and where?

Re: "Target=" issue?
First you need to customize your search input control to build the url on the server-side as shown in the Customize Input Controls sample at https://www.karamasoft.com/Samples.aspx?component=UltimateSearch&sample=CustomInput.

Then replace the last line:

Page.Response.Redirect(queryStr, true);

Page.Response.Write("<script>window.open(queryStr, '_blank');</script>");
