UltimateSearchInputMVC searching from some other source than actual source

Hi,
My UltimateSearchInputMVC is getting content from some other source than actual.
for example if I launch my site using ctrl + f5 my url become http://localhost:58550/
but every time I click 'search' of UltimateSearchInputMVC control I am getting result from http://localhost:1773/Content/documents

Things I have done so far are as follows :

1) I copy the directory UltimateSearchInclude from demo project to the root of my web application.
2) I copy and include UltimateSearch and UltimateSearchMVC dll(s) to my application.
3) I copy and paste the code of UltimateSearchInputMVC  and UltimateSearchOutputMVC controls on my "_layout.cshtml" page.
4)and then build and run the project.
5) Now when I try to search "water" from search box on my local url (http://localhost:58550/ )
I am all results redirecting me to the another url (http://localhost:1773/Content/documents).

kindly suggest me where I am wrong.

How many forms do you have in your view and how did you set the action attribute of those form elements? If you let us know more about the structure of your view and controller actions we can help you better.

Re: UltimateSearchInputMVC searching from some other source than actual source
Hi,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I able to solve the issue by myself. As there was no tutorial with the setup to teach step by step, I took time to realize few steps that could be obvious but still must be mentioned some where. I was using the same default Index.

Writing those steps just in case someone else is stuck like me::

1) Include "UltimateSearchInclude" in your visual studio project (just coping and pasting the whole folder won't help as you need to include this folder as well.)
2) Navigate to UltimateSearchInclude >> Admin >> Admin.htm and open it in browser (ctrl + shift + w), Here you will get some useful tips.
3) then open UltimateSearchInclude >> Admin >> UltimateSearch.admin.aspx in browser (ctrl +shift +w)
4) now according to your need index all the pages you want.

PS : Navigate to UltimateSearchInclude >> UltimateSearch.config to make config changes that will be used by UltimateSearch.admin.aspx
