Request Header
Hi,

I need to determine in the Page_Load event that the postback is from a UltimateAjax callback instead of a regular postback.  Is there any way that I can do a setRequestHeader on the client side and on the server side I can retrieve the request header to determine whether it's a UltimateAjax callback?

Thanks in advance.

Alan

Re: Request Header
You can use the Callback event handler as explained at http://www.karamasoft.com/UltimateAjax/ServerAPI/Karamasoft.WebControls.UltimateAjax.UltimateAjax.Callback.html to determine teh callback event and set a variable in your page's code-behind and check that variable in your Page_Load event handler. You can also refer to the sample files that come with the installation to see how the Callback event handler can be used.

Re: Request Header
Hi,

Thanks for the fast response.
Actually I like find out whether it is a Ajax callback or regular postback in Page_Load event which happens before the callback handler taking over.
There are certain process that I don't want to run in Page_Load if it's a Ajax callback so I need to know whether the postback is regular postback or a ajax callback.
Thanks.

Regards,
Alan

Re: Request Header
You can use the IsAnyCallback or IsCallback properties of your UltimateAjax control as can eb seen in the sample code at http://www.karamasoft.com/UltimateAjax/ServerAPI/Karamasoft.WebControls.UltimateAjax.UltimateAjax.IsAnyCallback.html.
