running batch email in background
is it possible to send a batch email merge in the 'background' such that the user starts the job, closes the browser and the batch mail merge will continue to run?  then, periodically, the user can check the status of the job using the log file or some other mechanism.

You will need to write some code, but you may take a look at the Events, Log Status and Batch Process samples at http://www.karamasoft.com/Samples.aspx?component=UltimateEmail.

Re: running batch email in background
I have studied Events, Log Status, and Batch Process samples extensively.  I have integrated much of their functionality into my app.  Once I setup my logging in OnBeforeSend and OnAfterSend, what will happen after I call SendMailMerge() if the user logs out and closes their browser?  will the mail merge continue to run?
