Ultimate Editor 3.6 ASP.Net 3.5 Setup Error Code 2738
Hi,

I just downloaded the Karamsoft Ultimate Editor 3.6
and i am trying to install it for ASP.net 3.5 the installation works fine and it asks me to close all open Visual Studio instances and i have none open

then it gives an Error 

"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error Code is 2738"

need help URGENT  thanks in advance

We cannot reproduce this issue in our test environment. Please apply the fix at http://blogs.technet.com/fixit4me/archive/2009/03/31/error-code-2738-when-running-a-microsoft-fix-it-solution.aspx by clicking on the "Fix this problem" link to see if it resolves the issue.

Do you have Visual Studio 2008, .NET Framework 3.5 and IIS installed on your computer? If not, what do you have installed in terms of VS, .NET, IIS, Windows OS and browser?

Yes i have visual studio 2008 , .net frame work 3.5 on my computer

Windows XP SP2
Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition
.Net 3.5

but i donot have IIS installed on my computer,
is that a must for installing the Ultimate Editor?

It is required for installation in order to create virtual directories for sample apps.
